This project is an office fit out that is part of a Prestigious London Development on a riverside location that is a short walk from the iconic Battersea Power Station. Soon to be connected by two new tube stations.
The project requirement was for custom full height partitioning in Reeded Glass. The standard thickness of reeded glass is 4mm therefore to increase the thickness of the glass for the partitioning system and to improve acoustics for the meeting rooms the Reeded glass is laminated to clear toughened glass. The thickness of the panels needed to vary depending on the location of the glass, the doors for instance needed to be a specific thickness to enable them to be installed in the chosen system.
The use of the reeded glass enhances the design and light transmission of the office spaces whilst maintaining a sense of privacy.
